Fellowship opportunity in The United States - Michigan State University: All costs covered

The Department of Medicine at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine is pleased to offer a fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. Accredited by the American Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) in 2005, the Endocrinology Fellowship is sponsored by MSU College of Human Medicine and E.W. Sparrow Hospital in downtown Lansing, Michigan is the hospital partner. Clinical training sites will be Sparrow Hospital’s Regional Diabetes Center and the MSU Clinical Center.
The Endocrinology and Metabolism Fellowship will offer multiple opportunities for clinical research under the supervision of our clinical faculty. Opportunities for research in basic sciences also exist with collaboration with basic science faculty in the Departments of Medicine, Physiology and Pharmacology.
Applicants must successfully complete an Internal Medicine residency program in the United States before they are eligible for a subspecialty fellowship.

The MSU Endocrinology Fellows receive stipends, benefits, and educational reimbursements through Graduate Medical Education, Inc. (GMEI). GMEI is the non-profit graduate medical education consortium for the Lansing-East Lansing community. GMEI is a partnership of excellence between the Lansing hospitals (Ingham Regional Medical Center and Sparrow Health System) and Michigan State University (the Colleges of Human and Osteopathic Medicine). GMEI’s mission is to support partner institutions in their efforts to provide excellent medical education in the Mid-Michigan Region through diverse, quality educational experiences in a collaborative environment.
