Local Unit & Position Description 

DNV GL’s aim is to insure employees against financial consequences of accidents and to assist in securing a market related savings plan for retirement. This is an important part of DNV GL’s benefit portfolio in Norway and it needs to be maintained, developed and communicated accordingly. To strengthen the HR perspective of the pension and insurance professional field, we are seeking a new principal professional.

You will take a lead in development of pension and insurance schemes in DNV GL Norway. To do this, liaising with all relevant stakeholders in the DNV GL organisation is a prerequisite. This involves monitoring changes in the market and regulatory environment, and make sure DNV GL adapts accordingly. You will coordinate the different pension and insurance schemes, which are a major part of the benefit-portfolio in DNV GL Norway,and you will be responsible for communicating the value of these benefits to all our employees in Norway. Our line managers will benefit from your excellent support in pension and insurance related matters.

Position Qualifications 

We are seeking a professional with a Master's Degree in business administration - or equivalent - and with more than five years of relevant experience within the pension and insurance field in Norway. You are a HR oriented person with strong communication and advisory skills. In depth understanding of the Norwegian pension and insurance market, and related products, is necessary to succeed in this role.

The successful candidate has a strong user- and solution oriented mindset and is good at navigating in a complex internal organisation with multiple stakeholders. You have the ability to cut through the complexity, keeping a holistic view in mind, and communicate in a structural and understandable way. You have strong communication skills, including excellent command of the Norwegian and English language - written and oral.
