European Jobs Network (EURES) published a detailed report stating that Norway needs engineers, teachers, nurses, bus drivers, cooks and waiters, who will be offered in this Nordic country an average monthly wage of nearly 4,500 euros. Namely, this Scandinavian country needs engineers, especially experts in mechanics, electronics, automation, hydraulics and plumbing, preschool educators, teachers, particularly in the field of natural sciences and mathematics, physicians and nurses, psychologists, bus drivers, taxi drivers, cooks and waiters. - 
Companies in Norway that are currently seeking engineers and experts from different fields are Aker Solutions, FMC Technologies, Statoil, National Oilwell Varco, Kverner, Kongsberg Group, Aibel, Roksar and Fabricom. According to the EURES, to stay in Norway you need to apply for a residence permit for a period of three months at the local police station in the country or after a foreign national finds adequate employment. A foreigner may stay in Norway six months before seeking employment.
Studies show that working conditions in Norway are among the best and most humane in the world. Workers will conclude a written contract that includes three to six months probation period before signing a long-term contract. The salary shall be paid on a monthly basis, and the employee works 37.5 hours per week, or 7.5 hours each working day, and the maximum of 40 hours a week.
European employment office said in its report that employees in Norway have 25 vacation days on average, and all those above 30 years of age have 30 days of annual leave, which is duly paid. The average wage in this Scandinavian country is one of the highest in Europe, and also in the world. Thus, the average monthly wage in Norway is currently around 36,700 kroner (NOK), or 4,384 euros. -
